Creation of a lead sheet, that is, a single staff with the melody, lyrics (if any), and chord symbols (if any) for copyright.

Although a variety of formats for your song are accepted, here is a preferable way to send your files to speed up the sheet music creation process and consequently minimizing your cost:

Step 1: Choose a BPM on the metronome 

Step 2: Record the melody together with the metronome on your phone or on computer
*If you also play an instrument you may record it as you record the melody, as a reference for the harmony (chords).

Step 3: Email your material as directed in "Submit files for estimates and orders"
*If you recorded together with a metronome, don't forget to specify the tempo (BPM) you used.

Lead Sheet: U$40 per minute of recorded music [vocal line or solo instrument plus chords and lyrics] - Minimum charge for service $50

Estimates are based on the difficulty of the proposed transcription and therefore the amount of time it would take to finish. The estimates given are based on the end costs without any requests for additional services.

Submit files for estimates and orders
Email the music you want transcribed attaching:
- Music audio format: .mp3 , .wav , .aif , .wma
- Handwritten sheet music: .jpeg , .pdf
- Lyrics: typed in the body of the email or as .txt , .doc , .rtf
- Chords: typed or handwritten over lyrics
- Metronome tempo (BPM)

Delivery
Your finished transcriptions will be emailed in .pdf and .mus (Finale) files.
If requested I can provide you with a MIDI file, as well as transpositions, for no additional charge.
You will need the free viewers in order to view and print your transcriptions.
